Animal House is on a distinguished road
Default Animal House

I admit that it has been quite a while since I have first watched Animal House. This is my all time favorite movie in the comedy genre. I have this movie on a VHS tape and have watched it so many times that I think it needs replacing with a modern DVD.

I remember watching a flashback show a couple of years ago where all the actors of this movie were talking about the days during the filming of Animal House.

This is the best movie ever for its day and time.

The movie depicts the crazy antics of the college life and I think it is one, if not THE, first of National Lampoon's works.

I recommend this to you as a classic comedy, worth seeing!

This original movie came out in 1978 and the renunion and the unseen untold stories came out in 2003. This movie was ahead of it's time, in my opinion. It has created much laughter over the years.

Me too, I don't know this movie yet. Is this movie already showed up in big screen.

I found Animal House kind of repulsive, but that's just my opinion, I guess.

Animal House was indeed a period piece. Filmed partly in Cottage Grove, Oregon, it captures the gonzo attitude of the 1960s. This is not a new movie. Easily obtained for rental, etc. But it may be best appreciated by those of us longer in the tooth than others. I saw it in a theater when it was first released. And I was the only person in the house who laughed at the joke about a "truckload of Fizzies" being dumped in the swimming pool.

I guess it's to each their own. I remember seeing Animal House in the early 1980's, in a theatre not far from my old home town. I don't remember the "truckload of Fizzies" joke, but I do remember other jokes and antics that I didn't find so funny.

I am so big fan of comedy movies and always prefer them because they just make me relax after a long day tiredness so thanks for sharing such a nice comedy.

Comedy movies can be funny, but slapstick and other comedy that occurs primarily at other people's expense is what I've always had a hard time with, for some reason, and, for some reason, laughter has always been harder to get for me. Animal House is admittedly not my cup of tea, but everybody has their own tastes and preferences.

It is a must see comedy. If you love The Hangover, Wedding Crashers and Old School, you will love Animal House.
