Default Zoolander

Has anyone seen this comedy lately, it was on the telly the other day and I taught I'd mention it here, it's a good one about a model and his ridiculous life, very funny and stars Ben Stiller, a good film for a laugh.

It's one of my favorite comedies, despite the fact it has Ben Stiller in it. I don't know about you but my favorite character was Mugatu. I thought Hansel was a fairy, but Mugatu kicked ass.

"...I feel like I'm taking crazy pills." - I love this film - great satire and the only Ben Stiller film I own. I mean, thats worth owning IMO.
The scene where Derek trashes the scale model is gold. Makes no sense and would come off daft in the hands of most other actors. Stiller and Will play on each other so well and the body language acting sells the comedy.

Derek (Ben Stiller) and Hansel (Owen Wilson) are the worlds greatest two models. And nobody in the world could play them quite like Stiller and Wilson. Stiller was also a writer and the director of Zoolander and knows how to put together a movie.....Overall Zoolander can be described as a Colorful, Creative, Original and a Thoughtful movie.....

I agree with raw. This film is sheer brilliance, with Stiller quite possibly at his best. Saying that another film for Stiller and Wilson at their best is The Royal Tennenbaums. Not only do you have Stiller and both the Wilson brothers you have Bill Murray!

'Zoolander' is definitely my favourite Stiller film, but as great a job as he did, I found Will's Mugatu more memorable for some strange reason.
Milla Jovovich also does a sterling job and its the only film in years where fun cameos pay off and work like a charm (Billy Zane, David Bowie, etc).

It's great to see that America hasn't lost its taste for gratuitous violence given the events of September 11, 2001. There's a hilarious scene in /Zoolander/ where three male models spray petrol on each other playfully (like a soap commercial). One of them decides to light up and they all blow up. The audience was rolling with laughter at this point.

Zoolander is a funny film, even better the second time I watched it. Ben Stiller knows just the right level to play to make this movie funny. Good script and casting. Great parody of the modeling industry.
