Luckily that didn't happen. No character in 'Predators' according to the director, will be a 'relative' of Dutch, but he still hopes to snag Schwarzenegger for a cameo as this will be a direct sequel to 'Predator'. Wether its based before 'Predator 2' or just ignores 'Predator 2' remains to be seen.
Anavidfan, I too enjoyed the AVP films, AVPR more though. Sure, the humans are fodder, but I was only ever rooting for the lone Predator anyway.

If only PREDATORS had been made earlier, or instead of Predator 2 - this could have been a winnning franchise. But as it stands the PREDATOR world is a bit of a mess; the AVP movies iether confused or annoyed everyone and now we're getting a sequel years out of date which seems to be a pointless exercise.

I will watch PREDATORS but as I'm watching the trailer it's hard to get that exited in hindsight of the Pred' already being spoiled by too much exposure. The mystery which made the original so good has gone.

Just like "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" - this film is years/decades too late.

Predator is the superior movie. Im glad to see they are going back to the original instead of doing the stupid alien vs predator remix

It's good. I have watched it last week. It was a great time by watching this movie..

the cast is great and promises some good spectacle. le's the story is up to par. the last 2 AVP movies were, respectively, OK and aweful. the first Predator movie is a classic noe.

It's the most entertaining movie of 2010. I love this movie..

The development of the last Predator was awesome. Since the first movie was released fanatics goes for the thought of what is the real origin of the story and over the years it's still firing up minds of those really in to it.
