I agree with a few users, that this film is not a documentary. It is more based on a fiction book than anything. The book, was created to stir interest on purpose, and it sure as heck did. I've not seen the movie, and I don't think I'm likely to neither. The book was great, as a read, but that's all it was a story to me.

I never read the book but if the movie ending was the same as the book, then it was more of a hollywood movie than a documentary.

It was good though, but i wouldn't take anything in that book as fact.

don't you ever realized that the title "the vinci code" is actually the marketing strategy of the movie. constituted with a controversy so the marketing is very effective.
