Something about making a movie to scare someone. I don't know ... movies that reveal something great about their characters or the greater philosophical purpose of their stories seem to reach higher -- but movies made to frighten you seem to only cause you to laugh about their substance. Of course horror mixed in with a drama or thriller might deliver a good result, but pure horror, like pure comedy (without any depth) has a small chance of succeeding.

Hello... The Ring... it's not ah Drama & Romance.... It's a Horror Film
But I loved the Original "The Ring" Japanese version... the sound effect....
hu..... it's scary...... and It have trilogy

I also thought this was the horror movie...is there a 'drama' version?
it was one of the scariest movies I've ever seen...too scared to watch the japanese version although I kind of want to lol
