Not really. The more money goes into FX and action sequences and such, the less likely such a Blockbuster is going to be a good movie.

Examples:
Batman and Robin
Jurassic Park III
Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3 (not bad in themselves, but far too long and complex, possibly due to the fact that Gore Verbinski shot without a clear, set-in-stone script, apparently)
Speed 2 (Its final sequence cost more than the original Speed; not a strong movie, but I personally guiltily enjoyed it)
Terminator 3

if you see Casino Royale which was made with the budget of $150,000,000 and earned $599,200,000 but if you see " Quantum of Solace" which is budgeted around $230,000,000 but earned $515,588,687 which is less as compared to their previous earning in spite of adding more budgets to the movie.

I think it's the quality of the story which usually makes a film good but there are also films which are able to keep us entertained using amazing graphics which just keep the whole show exciting until the end, do you agree?

I do agree that special effects makes movie more entertaining but that to depends on the content, other wise unnecessary use of Special effects makes no sence , just simply wasting of money. Isn't it?

That's true a lot of the time film's waste too much money on special effect's which add nothing to the film but you expect good stunt's and effect's in film's like die hard, without then, it wouldnt be half as exciting, does this make sense? I could be explaining myself wrong
