"Bourne" is scheduled to open in 11 more overseas markets, including Italy on November 1 and China on November 15.

As it expands its global run, "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry" took in $5.2 million from 26 countries for an early total of $26.9 million.

"The Simpsons Movie" was third with $5 million from 11 markets for an international total of $332 million. Homer and family held at No. 1 position in Italy, scoring $4.6 million for a two-week gross of $17.4 million.

Recent overseas entry "Superbad" tallied $5 million from seven markets, and "No Reservations" delivered $4.6 million from 50 markets to raise its international haul to $30.7 million.

Domestic champ "Resident Evil: Extinction" also opened at No. 1 in Mexico ($2.1 million) and Taiwan ($1.1 million). Details of first-weekend sales in Russia, Ukraine and Malaysia were not available.
