Default Made for TV Movies?

I'm wondering what everyone's thoughts on made for tv movies are? Are they all bad? is there any ones that are good? I have a few that I like, and I usually only like them when they are about a story i'm familiar with. Like if they are based on a book and done well, I really like it.

Personally I really enjoyed the Stand (one based on a book). I'm looking foward to Lifetime's rendition of The memory keepers daughter (really good book, hoping its a good movie). That'll be on this Sunday night at 9.

I like TV movies but they are never as good as movies in the theater. However I'm both a TV and movie junkie so you gimme something and I bet you I'd like it. I actually have been looking forward to this new movie with Emily Watson. She is a two-time Oscar nominee...the movie has to be good. And just so you know it's on Saturday (tomorrow) not Sunday.

Thanks for the heads up about the movie time and day even though I didn't see it until now. I actually figured it out this weekend that I had the days mixed up. Did you see it? I thought it was wonderful and Emily Watson was the best character in the movie. She was so sweet.
